I am a mother of 3, a professional pianist/ artist teacher in a performing arts high school and I'm a Daughter of an American Colonist.

I am searching at this time for medical records or proof of some kind of my grandfather's WWI wounded-in-action status. He was MIA for some time...injured at the battle of Chateau-Thierry. He was a pfc. in Co.I, 4th inf. reg.,3rd division. If anyone has suggestions for finding these records(most federal records  were destroyed in a fire), I would greatly appreciate the help.
